New phone

I’ve just upgraded my phone to a Nokia E71 . Although the battery life doesn’t seem great, one very useful thing is the Wordmobi app which means I can blog straight from my phone. Hopefully this will mean more regular posts! Posted by Wordmobi

Not only have Apple released movie rentals and purchases in the UK iTunes store this week, but Virgin Media have upgraded the speed of their “L” Broadband package to 10mb! With both of these things in the same week, I’m one happy surfer!

The BBC has a report today about companies profiteering from non-geographical numbers such as 0870 & 0845. One website I’d recommend is www.saynoto0870.com. You type in the 0870/0845 number, and it gives you the equivalent geographical number which costs a  lot less!
